Click here to make payment through Paypal) Psychotherapy My fee for a Psychotherapy or Play Therapy appointment is $150 per session. The first appointment is generally an hour and a half to two hours, while subsequent sessions are 50 minutes. As a courtesy, I do not charge more for the initial visit. Insurance I do not participate with all insurance companies as an approved provider. Thus, some HMO insurance companies will not cover the cost of my sessions, while others may, depending on the insurance you carry. However, I am an out-of-network provider for PPO insurance companies. As a result, if you have an insurance with which I participate and/or a PPO health insurance program, your plan may cover some of the fee. You can see my site on Psychology Today or call me at 215-672-6627 to determine if I am a provider with your insurance company. You should contact your program's Member Services (on the back of your card, under Behavioral Health Services) to learn the deductible for your plan and what they will reimburse you per visit once you meet the deductible. Sliding Fees For people with limited funds and/or HMO insurance plans, I will SOMETIMES slide my fee (accept a somewhat reduced fee). I can only manage to do this for a limited number of clients. Consultation Group Consultation $80 per person for a group of 3-5 people. Individual Case Consultation is $150 per hour in person or by telephone. Telephone consultation may be supplemented with video or audiotaped sessions.
